to scan my sketchbooks and add some of my better work to my profile. Granted they are various studies only a few of them actual well know characters to comic fans. I am also hoping that if these are liked it will help to motivate me to draw more. Because I do really miss having the time to sketch whenever the hell I wanted to. One of the best things about childhood. Yet I hated art class, I always got those teachers that were too busy brown nosing the kids whose parents had clout in the community. Thus I only ever have taken a few art classes. Ahem, needless to say here they are enjoy.

Well finally the creative spark has lit the creative fire. I wouldn't have ever thought that the change my life took would cause this. I would speak more about this but do not want to offend anyone. All I can say is that I hope this will be the beginning of many more submissions. In fact, I will even rescue my good pencils from my mothers basement. I know these are a bit juvenile looking but I hope with practice I can get back to how well I was drawing before. It is true if you don't use it you loose it.

Had a good time checking out the local comic book stores. I believe I have decided that despite it being farther away I will frequent Pop Culture Comix. They had a much better allotment set up of all the other stores. Five comics per person with the only stipulation of no duplicates. I also was able to pick up some awesome new tees for the hubby and me. I would have loved to have been able to pick up the Wonder Woman cookie jar and the Booster Gold figure from JLI. I could have gone broke very easily.
It also helps that it was the hubby and mines old haunt from before becoming the parents of a beautiful little girl. It was nice to see the owner and he was still able to recognize me after all this time. It was that great feeling of coming home after being away for too long.

I just have to say it. I love looking at everyones fantastic pieces that they have posted. I always browse and search different themes almost everyday once I finally have time to relax. It always makes me smile. So keep up the great art everyone. It may still be awhile before I add my own deviations, but I still love to look at art in the meantime.
